Sponge Stamping Easter Eggs

These came out so cute and worked great for all 3 boys ages 1, 2 and almost 3. The boys love painting but it is definitely fun to use different techniques like this sponge stamping!

What you need:

1 New Sponge

White Cardstock Egg Cut-Out

Painter's Tape

Paint: White, Pink, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple

2 Paper Plates

1. Cut your sponge into 8 squares. Place on paper plate.

2. Use painter's tape to make different decorations on the eggs. I tried dot stickers too but they were pretty hard to get off.

3. Mix each of the paints with white to make the colors pastel.

4. Let the kids use the sponges to stamp all over the egg. Try to have them cover the whole thing.

5. Allow to dry slightly and then peel the tape very slowly. If you pull too quickly it could rip.

Happy Painting!
