Holiday Gift Guide for Toddlers

There are so many amazing toys out there that it is hard to make a list but here are some of our favorites. All of these are toys that we have and love. I listed every item with a link to one of my 2 favorite places to shop: Amazon or Target and a key to the price:

$ = $0-$20

$$ = $20-$50

$$$ = $50-$100

$$$$ = $100+

For the Montessori Toddler:

Melissa & Doug Stacking Train (18pc)

$

Hunter loves trains! This is great because he can "build" his own train over and over!

Melissa & Doug Beginner Pattern Blocks

$

Hunter loves puzzles and this is fun because it is different from most puzzles and great for learning shapes!

ALEX Toys Discover My Busy Town Wooden Activity Cube

$$$

We bought Hunter this for his 1st birthday and now a year later, he still loves to play with it!

Wooden Car Ramp

$$

This is a very simple toy but has been hours of fun for Hunter, especially during the lockdown!

Melissa & Doug Shape Sorting Cube Classic Toy

$

Hunter loved his original shape sorting toy with 4 shapes. This version is a little more advanced. He needs some guidance but he is doing great with his shapes!

For the Artistic Toddler:

Crayola Washable Finger Paint Set

$

This is our favorite art set! We use it all the time. The paper is great because it is glossy so the paper never rips.

Crayola Art Smock

$

This is a must have if your child will be painting! The sleeves are essential because Hunter always manages to rub his arms in his painting.

Crayola Art Easel

$$$

My sister has this easel and it is great! It has the roll of paper attached for easy painting and drawing. It has a dry erase board and chalkboard as well!

Crayola Floor Pad

$

We use this every day! It is just a blank pad but it is huge and Hunter loves to color. Honestly we love to color on it too! We make shapes and pictures for him to color.

Crayola Mess Free Paw Patrol Coloring Pages & Markers

$

These are awesome! They are markers that only show up on the special paper but they are different colors like regular markers.

For the Active Toddler:

Little Tikes Trampoline

$$$

Hunter absolutely loves this trampoline that his aunt bought him! He jumps every single day! The bar makes it great for stability.

Radio Flyer Scoot 2 Scooter

$$

I am all for a toy that can grow with my toddler. This starts out with a seat so that the little ones can scoot around easily but then converts into a scooter as they get bigger.

Step2 Roller Coaster

$$$$

I got this for my nephew and all of the boys absolutely love it! They can set it up themselves and ride over and over again!

VTech Drop N Pop Ball Pit

$$

Ball pits are so much fun and this one has so many great features! It has a basketball hoop with lights and music. I did buy additional balls to make it really full.

VTech Smart Shots Sports Center

$$

This is such a cute beginner sports center. It has lights and buttons for younger babies. Hunter got this for his 1st birthday.

For the Musical Toddler:

Fisher Price Rainforest Musical Band Drum Set

$

This was one of the first toys Hunter ever had. He loved it as much in the early months as he does now! I have gotten more than my monies worth on this toy!

Melissa & Doug Learn-to-Play Piano

$$$

This is the cutest little piano. Hunter really enjoys to play on it (and use it as a table). Once they are a little older, it comes with a simple song book and letters for the keys!

Fisher Price Xylophone

$

This is such a classic toy and Hunter loves it! It is also good from a very young age. I did cut the string because it is a little hard to use with such a short string.

For the Helpful Toddler:

Little Helper Dyson Vacuum Toy

$$

This looks just like the real Dyson vacuum. It is adorable and Hunter like to run and get his vacuum whenever I take mine out! It also comes apart to be a dust buster!

Melissa & Doug Dust Sweep Mop

$$

Toddler just love to help out. This adorable set can be used for pretend play or for help when they really do make a mess! Honestly Hunter's sweeping sometimes makes more of a mess but it's sweet to have him try and help!

Hey! Play! Bubble Lawn Mower

$

The kids love this bubble mower! Who doesn't want to push their mower next to daddy?

Step2 Little Helper's Shopping Cart

$$

The boys all love their shopping cart! They love to fill it with play food (or anything and everything in Hunter's case) and push it around the house.

The Big Surprise Gifts:

Fisher-Price Laugh and Learn Servin' Up Fun Food Truck

$$$

This is adorable and so much fun! It has different levels that it can be set at and has a cash register, grill and sink for imaginative play!

V-tech Touch and Learn Activity Table

$$$

I keep saying things are Hunter's favorites but this whole list really is! He loves this activity table and so do I because he is learning as he plays. It comes with additional play cards and flips up to be an easel!

Fisher-Price Laugh and Learn Smart Learning Home

$$$

This adorable house house comes with a mailbox, kitchen area, ball drop and shape sorter! So much to do and the boys love this functional door!

Kidkraft Waterfall Mountain Train Set and Table

$$$$

This gift is definitely on the pricier side but in my opinion, worth every penny! This is the best gift we have ever bought Hunter. He absolutely loves this table. I bought additional trains to go with it. He can play with this for hours!

Rollplay Steam Train

$$$$

This is so much fun! My sister just bought this for Hunter. To be honest, he is a little afraid of it right now but it is awesome and I know he will love it. My nephew loves to ride on it! It also plays train sounds and makes real steam!

Happy Shopping!
